Outfit of the Day: Boden Wrap Dress

I have to profess my newly found love for Boden, the UK-based retailer of ultra-wearable women's, men's and children's clothing. I'd been eying some of their wrap dresses for awhile and managed to snatch up three on clearance last month. These dresses have the same sort of chic but fashionable appeal of Diane von Furstenberg wrap dresses, but at a fraction of the price. Seeing as to how my fiance would hang me from the Harvard bridge if I were still throwing hundreds of dollars on a single garment, the Boden dresses are all the more appealing. I don't want to die.

Kidding--my fiance really isn't a violent person. I shouldn't joke about him hanging me.

But about these dresses...

Awesome points for being a sort of faux wrap. Only the top part wraps and ties, which is great on those windy days when your dress doesn't want to stay down (or closed) and it's a Hanky Panky--or less--underneath.

More awesome points for being machine washable (and well-made). I spend a small fortunate dry cleaning all of my designer stuff (DVF dresses included). Wash and wear? Yeah buddy!
